It looks good, but my iphone comes up with a message saying it is not for the iphone every time I plug it in. It also has a bad buzzing on the audio. It is kind of useless for me.

This product is lying it does not work on firmware 3.0 or later I have an ipod touch 3g 8gb(Ipod touch 2g 8g)it only plays audio. And I would not recommend this if you if you also want video I am about to return it right now.

I bought it in May.
it didn't work on my 3G(3.1.3 firmware).
I try on my car stereo, my wife's stereo, TV.
I got iphone 4 now, and try it again.
No luck.
I don't know why some poster said works fine and some are not (like me)
It maybe poor quality control product.
Some works fine and some won't in same batch.
I don't gamble and I don't expect retailer as Casino dealer.
Works with the iPad and iPhone 4

I ordered this item with some trepidation after others reported problems, but i got this to output video from the Netflix app, Youtube, photo slideshows and iTunes on an iPhone 4 and iPad 3G without any difficulty at all. It's a good deal at half the price of the "official" Apple accessory and still lets you charge your device while video is playing.
Poor Quality and Doesn't work well with iPhone3g

One more bad experience from Market place purchase. This is a very poor quality cable and hardly works with iphone 3g. I am keep getting warning message saying the cable is not supported by the phone. Tried to talk to customer service phone number but there are no one to take the calls. Called several times and left voice messages but theu never returned the calls.
Amazon should ban such sellers.
