I used this for a few months and then it stopped working. It was a nice idea, but it is really a piece of junk. I would recommend that you do not buy it.

I've had this charger for about 8 months now and it still works great.
About 1 out of 25 times I use the charger the iPhone says something like "iPhone not compatible with this charger" but it works perfectly the other 24 times. 4 Stars.
NOT for 3GS

I bought this car charger for my 3GS. It is NOT for the 3GS. It will work on a 3G, but not a 3GS.....the place on a 3GS where you plug it in is smaller that the 3G. I kept the product and gave it to my wife who has a 3G.
Again, DO NOT BUY THIS FOR A 3GS!

I LOVE the retractableness of this charger, however I gave it as a gift and it doesn't always charge which is the main function of the device. Basically it got 2 stars because it retracts!
