These simple rubber buttons, with adhesive backing, are so great. They go where you need them, I put one on my car dashboard so phone charging cabble end doesn't drop on floor when not in use. I've also mounted one on TV stand to hold headphone cable end when I'm not using headphones for late night viewing of TV (via audio cable hookup).

Just a smart, 'why didn't I think of that!' idea for a product.

One small deatail. You have to pull up on cable from plug tip end when pushing into rubber center, nips/ ends are sort of closed off too much, but means cable(s) stay put, once inside.

Cabledrops solve a problem that has plagued me since the first cell phone I ever had...what to do with the charging cable when it isn't plugged into the phone!
I use my iPhone as my alarm clock. Not only that but naturally it's (almost) the last thing I touch at night...to check email. It's also the first thing I check in the morning.
Because of this I leave a charging cable plugged in at my bedside. When the phone isn't charging (i.e. all day), the cable used to just lie around on the floor looking messy. Also, I am one of the few people who uses those little plastic caps that come with the iPhone and iPod cables BUT if I didn't, I know from experience that the little hooks that keep the cord plugged into the device being charged tend to get caught in the carpet if you don't use the plastic caps.
Cabledrops to the rescue! I fastened a brown colored Cabledrop to the side of my dresser right next to my bed and PRESTO, both problems solved!
Both my iPod cable and my iPhone cable fit in the Cabledrop at the same time and hang very tidily within reach.
I also installed one in my car to hold the mini-to-mini cable I use to play my iPod through while driving. Now when I want some tunes, I don't have to fumble for the cable or even take my eyes off the road!
The cable drop itself is honestly a thing of beauty (to my eyes). They are truly perfectly designed objects whose form follows their function. And I love things like that!

These are great for organizing your computer cables. They are also handy when unplugging devices as the cable drop will hold the cable in place so you don't have to reach behind your desk to find it.
