I bought this iPhone holder to utilize the iphone as a teleprompter that will place the prompter app on the iphone right next to the camcorder lens for standups. It worked well, though I would prefer a slightly stronger clamp. Yet, the clamp itself and the way it yaws wide open, makes it incredibly versatile. I now use it as a phone stand attached to my workbench as a mic when I have regular headphones on, I use it to keep the iphone in front of me on the elliptical trainer, I attach it to the desk to watch movies while I perform menial, mindless chores, and I just love the way it connects to the interior of the car both for the people in the front seat and rear. For the money, this little beastie is a great buy!

I've been using In Your Face with an HTC EVO 4G and it's handy in many situations, especially in the car when using GPS navigation features on the phone.

I even used it to hold my iPhone on my bike handle bars while using a cycling app and it worked flawlessly. I work at my computer all day and I clamp my iPhone so that it appears just to the left of my monitor and I have not missed a text message or call since then.
The only flaw I've found is that the clamp holds the iPhone so tightly that it a bit difficult to release. Perhaps if the adjustable side had a finger pull? ***Update*** - I discovered a simple way to release the iPhone from the clamp and perhaps it was designed that way but it needs to be added to the instructions. See the video.
Highly recommend.

no more holding your itouch for hours on long flights or fumbling to keep your itouch on the tray table while you do other things. this is PERFECT for flights. keeps the video near your view and out of your tray and work area. i never travel without it!!!

This was a total waste of money. It completely fell apart after a dozen uses. The clamp keeps coming apart but even worse the flexible arm broke off the camera holder!! Don't waste your money.
