The description of this item states that it works with ALL Apple products, but I could NOT get our iTouch to connect in the dock (yes, using the correct cover over the connection). My Nano did connect, so I was able to hear the sound quality of the speakers - I'd say it is OK for the size and price tag. Since I purchased this sound system specifically to channel Pandora Radio via our iTouch, I sent it back AND I should add, after emailing the company twice regarding my dissatisfaction with the way the product is advertised as working with ALL Apple products, they gave me a full refund, including my S&H costs. So an A+ to their customer service department at the very least.

I'm so happy to have this. It has much better sound than my laptop, and is also easy to use & works well with such a tiny footprint on my desk. Great value.
did not charge iPod

It plays fine but mine didn't charge the iPod for some reason. My bet is it has something to do with the flipping action of the connector. Any movement in such a device will always result is fatigue, wear and breakage of any connection utilized.
Seller was prompt with refund, exchange or store credit which I took.

Not sure what I was thinking !!
I guess there were only positive reviews when I looked for a set of speakers for my wife's ipod touch....
Promise me you won't waste your money and I promise to read the fine print when I read reviews next time :)
Now I have to pay return postage and fees for this horrible product....
Sometimes brick and mortar stores where you can see and test are better for these type of purchases...
Does what it's supposed to

This dock does what it's supposed to and is easy to use. I use it with an iPod Touch. It comes with a remote which I didn't find of much use - I wish it had a mute function but it doesn't. As a workaround I simply shut the power off on the deck which turns off the speakers. Some people complain that remote is the only way to control the device - this is not true, the dock has a built-in power switch and volume controls.
The sound quality is what you might expect - it's not a home theater but it's fine and clear. A big advantage compared with another model I tried before purchasing this one is this one doesn't pick up the "balckberry buzz". It sits on my desk right next to the blackberry dock and there is no problem at all.
One minor gripe: the connector tends to fold when you plug in the iPod touch. You have to plug it in at exactly the right angle to avoid this. Not a big deal unless you take the iPod in and outmany times a day.
