Ive had this for about a year now and it works very well despite a few glitches. I like that you can use this both with iphone & ipod since we have both. There are a couple of things with the iphone that sometimes go haywire. It will charge the iphone however sometimes if you put it in with an iphone cover on it, be advised that it may not charge or even work. I discovered many times over that the iphone flashes you that "this item may not work correctly" message. This can easily be solved by making sure you remove any cover from the iphone before setting it in the cradle. Next, make sure you set it on the dock correctly because if it's even slightly not upright in the cradle then it will not charge or work & may again flash you that error message.BE GENTLE putting that thing in there. Lastly, make sure you fully understand how your alarms work--both with the iphone & the alarm clock. Iphone has it's own alarm and that can be confusing when you set your iphone alarm to a certain time while your alarm clock is set to another, you see where this is going. The instructions that come with the Logitech are not clear as far as that, so do not bother looking in there for anything regarding this type of issue. I doubt they anticipated for it ;).The brightness settings for the clock could be better, it has three but I feel the dimmest setting is still a bit bright. With ipod classic sometimes the remote fails to work in advancing through songs,etc. Not quite sure what the culprit for that is. If you use iphone & subscribe to Pandora or some other online streaming music it wont skip songs with these either--you will have to skip using iphone controls Not Logitech. That goes for the manual skip button as well--won't work with Pandora, etc. Its simple design is just not equipped for that. The concept of the motion sensor for waving your hand to snooze it is nice, but that sensor is only on one side--the right side. So keep in mind you have to make sure you wave your hand over that side or it won't snooze. That might be hard to do if you're like me and dont really "think" or function first thing in the morning (or just lazy too..haha). The sound is pretty good, I have to say Logitech does a good job with that. It's clear and reaches a good level of boombox loudness for an alarm clock. I actually got rid of my bulky old mini stereo system and use it as my primary system in the bedroom. We liked the sound enough that we bought another one for the guest room but actually move that one around the house to play tunes in the living areas, etc. I have listened to the radio on it as well (as much as I hate commercial radio) and it works fine in that department as well. The sound quality is very good, in fact it's the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.

It came Late,but in a good shape.but. Started to hang on pressing 1,2 ,3 buttons if you dont have a playlist preset.works with my iphone 3gs well.Charges and plays music.but the light sensor is not good.mine keeps blinking all the time.

I have had this radio for less than six months but outside the 30day warranty period so i can't return it. Everything was fine till it didn't wake me up yesterday morning. Last night i set the alarm all was well no problems. My wife comes into the room and asks what the battery symbol means. It wasn't on there when i set the alarm. It means that backup battery needs to be replaced. Morning comes alarm doesn't go off and further more no buttons would work now nothing that clock was completely bricked. I unplugged it and getting ready to trash it. For its mediocre sound, barely functional ease of use, and the fact that the power supply isn't your standard ac plug in so i can't try to replace the power supply i would not recommend this unit to anyone out there.

Clock Does NOT Keep Accurate Time 2010-01-06

I purchased the Logitech Pure-Fi Anytime Premium Alarm Clock for iPod and iPhone, have used it for 16 days, and have now packed it up to be returned. On 4 of those days, and yesterday being the worst, it lost time. From 5 minutes over 24 hours, to over 2 hours lost in 24 hours! How can a clock in the 21st century not keep accurate time?

I had read earlier reviews that mentioned that some had similar time keeping problems. Be warned, it wasn't a fluke.

The rest of the device worked as described. Would have kept it if it could just do one major task, like keeping time.
