This works better than the almost $100 one I purchased at the store. I almost never get radio interference on this one, unlike the more expensive one, which I could rarely use because it always sounded awful. I would definitely recommend this product.

Before buying this FM Remote for use with my iPhone, I looked at one by Kennsington. THe kennsington model looked great but cost like $89.00. When I saw this remote and the price I thought even if it does not work its not $89.00; but, was I surprised! The mount is substantial and the sound is great, the only limitation is my stock radio. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this because I needed a car charger for my Touch. The FM transmission was a bonus.

It came with NO instructions of any kind; thankfully I had previously had a similar FM transmitter and was able to figure it out.

The sound transmitted through the radio is only so-so. Whether this is a function of the product quality, the current state of this technology, or my own shortcomings in setup, I don't know. BUT, it charges my Touch just great. No quibbles.

The product does work but is poorly constructed. I do like the fact that it seems to work on a wide range of FM stations. The sound quality is good, but you will need to have the volume on your in dash unit much higher than normal. If you switch to AM or turn off the transmitter, the sudden volume change will be a surprise.

If you have a center console shift, you may have to wait till you are in drive before you can insert the DC adapter into your outlet. For example, I have to have my F-150 in drive to insert the adapter.

The iPhone grips on the side simply do not work well. There is a lock wheel on the back to adjust vertical angle. Anything much above a 45 degree angle will cause the iPhone to fall forward out of the adapter. The manufacture should have, or should consider, a lock wheel for the side grips. They loosen as you drive. In 30 minutes, my iPhone fell out of the holder twice. I found myself trying to drive and hold the iphone in the cradle before giving up. Again a lock wheel for the grips or a tray on the bottom with a curved lip in the front would have made sense.

Finally, I had a difficult time disconnecting my iPhone from the built in sync/charger cable. The fitting is not well constructed and I became concerned that I would damage my phone before I was finally able to disconnect the cable.

The $16 price was the appeal. I will return it and spend a little more for something of better quality.
