Had a very difficult time finding an adaptor to play the new/latest Nano. This one works perfectly but you have to purchase an insert base from Apple or one like the one they sell to get it to work. They are not expensive. This Sony unit is excellent and produces quality sound for the type of system it is. One needs to understand this is not a ear busting stereo system for the entire house. We use it when we travel in our RV or outside on the back deck. It is an excellent value but you MUST get the proper insert for the unit that fits the Nano.

I bought it for a small office. I stream Pandora on my iPhone into the dock, so I can't have airplane mode on. I've never heard any GSM beeps. The audio quality degrades when you get into the real high volume levels, but there's plenty of volume to rock out before it becomes a problem. Think of this unit as a very good set of computer speakers. Turned on their side. With an iPod dock.
The skip forward/pause controls won't control Pandora, only built in iTunes app. Eh, what do you want to $150?

This does what it is supposed to do. Dock your iphone and listen to the ipod or streaming audio from the web. Good sound for the price, and it keeps my phone charged.

Very good sound for the size of the unit, good bass although can be a bit overpowering with some tracks with the bass boost on.
Overall, was one of the best ipod docks I tested in this price range without jumping to a $300 level.
Works well with iphone.
Bought it as a xmas present for my wife and she loves it!
