The item is designed to hold three things in the lighter plug. problem is, when you plug in anything with any weight, it drops down. it wont hold them up nice and solid. my son has an ipod dock that has to be plugged in to a lighter and then serve as a cradle for his ipod. this didnt work with that at all.

I plugged an air pump into this thing and it immediately burned out. Whoops. Wish I would have known. For the price, I may try again...and now I know. But, be forewarned.

This splitter is made solid and looks good, but the fuse inside popped within 5 minutes of using. There are no instructions or warantee info. I went to local hardware store and threw in new 2 amp fuse (had to guess) for $3. Let's see if that works without popping...

It is very hard to get this splitter plugged into my cigarette lighter then after I did get it plugged in, I can't get the adjustable arm tight enough to hold anything I plug into it stable. I have only plugged in my iPod FM transmitter but no matter how tight I turn the screw, the whole thing slowly slides down were I can't see the iPod display. I have not tried to plug more than one thing into this but after reading other reviews, I think I am afraid to do so.
