I bought this item for my workouts and I'm very pleased with it! I have big guns so I can only strap it on my forearms instead of my arm close to my shoulder as I'd prefer but it still works. If you have a otterbox case, you already know that it makes your Iphone look bulkier and this armband dont help much in that area. These are a few complains of some of my friends that see it. I personally like it enough to give it 5 stars because it fits your otterbox like a perfect rubber glove, the strap is wide enough and it feels safely secure (I toss it all the time, just to probe a point and it hasnt failed me yet)

Finally I can take my OtterBox covered iPhone with me on a run. Ok.... I could take the case off each time, but that is NEVER going to happen. OtterBox is discontinuing this armband, so do not delay in purchasing if you want one! The only downside I have found is that the armband is made for skinny runner type arms. If you have large biceps (14" or larger) you will want to order an extender. Otherwise a great find! It was recommended by OtterBox to remove the neoprene cover from the defender prior to using the armband. I have always slipped the armband over the entire case, and have yet to experience any problems.

This iPod touch arm-band fits my touch very well. It does slip on my arm a bit, but is relatively comfortable and holds the touch securely. I do have a slim case on the back, that bulks it up a bit to fit more snugly. For the price, this is the best I found.
No requirement to remove the protective case on your iphone.

This product is excellent. I searched all over for something like this but all the other brands are made to only fit the iphone itself and leave no extra room. I have a protective case on my iphone made by switch-easy. It is larger than most but this armband stretches nicely over it and holds it snugly. It seems tight enough to probably work with or without a case on the phone. I have been running with this product for about 2.5 weeks now and am extremely happy with it. The armband may be tight for those with large biceps. That would not deter me from buying this though. I'd just recommend buying a Velcro extension for the armband if you find it too tight on your arm. I find it best to insert the phone by stretching the case over the longer sides of the phone (one at a time) vs. top to bottom.
