Great iPod/iPhone usb charger!!!

I've had this charger for 2 years now, and have charged pretty much anything that has usb successfully on this bad boy. I absolutely love it. Don't let the reviews of people who got a bad one scare you away. This charger is amazingly convenient, and charges my products as expected. There's a little blue light that comes on when it's plugged in, but other than that, there's not much more to say about it. If you need one, get it. You won't be disappointed.
Edit: Works on 3g and 3gs iPhone in case you were wondering.

Works on my 3gs, GF's 3g, and all our ipods of various generations, and cable works as a sync cable on my computer also. USB charger works for all other USB charging devices I have tried on it so far as well. I do get a buzz when playing music while plugged in to RCA's and charging, but I have to fix this in my ground loop on my vehicle...

What's nice is that you can use the cable as a spare USB wire in case you lose the one that came with your iphone.

Was thrilled with this product initially. I bought two, one for myself and one for my wife. Both initially worked well. However, after less than a year, mine has stopped working consistently. Sometimes it would charge my iPhone. Other times, it would feel hot to the touch and would not charge my iPhone. Overheating? Would not buy again. Quality control is hit or miss. While mine stopped working, my wife's still works fine.

This is a simple device that is designed to do only one thing - charge an iPhone. Despite some negative reviews I bought one because it was a reasonable price (for an apple accessory) and it worked. A couple months later I bought another one for my wife's car, however, after a few days it stopped working.
Being the curious type I cracked open the case and found the cause of the problem - a loose wire. A quick resolder and voila...better than new.
So if you think you don't have the skills (or at least a friend to) fix it I would rate this ONE STAR
If you are handy, it's probably worth the price and 5 minute repair so I would rate this FIVE STARS
