These speakers provide a lot of sound in a respectably small package! They last a decent time between batteries...I use rechargeable AAA's....I've gotten 10 plus hours between charges...Sound is rather crisp and clear...while using with my iPhone they sound different when setting EQ in iPhone for different types of music. You'll need to find the sound that suits you! These were originally purchased to hook to my iPad Keyboard Dock...with the line out on the dock I need speakers with volume control...so I'm keeping these for iPhone travel and work situations and ordering an X-Mini II Capsule to try with the iPad Dock. I found the DLO's in the Amazon warehouse for a low price...I think they are worth the current asking price!

Terrible. Started making whining/buzzing sounds after only a few months of use- it sounds normal for the first 5 minutes of use, then the whining buzzing sound begins and won't quit until it's been off for a while. Happens with both my iphone and ipod.

The sound was average to poor, and in all I would certainly not buy this again.

I received the speakers very quickly. Thank you. The sound is not as good as the reviews said it was but that is not the fault of the seller. I read independent reviews. I have to say though, I saw the exact same speakers at Marshalls for just under $30. I found the wires troublesome when I packed it up. Silly me, they Photoshopped it out of the pictures. Again, not the fault of the seller.

I purchased these speakers because I wanted something small and easy to use with my AlarmTunes app on vacation. I have lot's of trouble waking up in the mornings and I needed a small but powerful speaker system and I think I found it! There is no iPhone specific jack it's simply a universal audio plug but that's OK with me since the speakers are shielded, and wont endure interference generated by the iPhone.

The sound was surprising. I've never purchased a small, portable speaker system and been happy with the sound except for these. I have speakers in our bathroom three times the size and double the cost and they don't sound half as good or loud as these!

Pros- Small size great for travel
comes with power cord so you have the option of battery or cord
Sound is great for the size and price

Cons- No charging Jack for iPhone/iPod
The stand for the iPhone would be much better if you could fold it flat.

I was trying to find a cheap set of speakers to hook my iphone into for work. I didnt' want a set that charged the phone, or that sync'd music, just something that I could plug in and listen to. for this price, the sound is fine and there have been zero problems with them.
