It looks and works like the original cable supplied with the iPhone 3G (I do not have any type of case on the phone). I have sync'd the iPhone, and charge it routinely using this cable (for about a week). There is even the USB logo on the cable and doubt if most apple product users would be able to tell the difference. Quality product at the rock-bottom price of less than $3 delivered!

I own an iphone and needed the cable to be able to charge it up. In going through my brochure that came with the phone, I realized I needed one to work with my computer. The connector works very well (hence the 5 stars). Their delivery was quicker than expected. Great people to buy from! Will definitely buy from them again!

I was skeptical, but the cable arrived and looked as close to an actual apple cable as I have seen. It feels like the good quality dense plastic as well.
I will upload some photos.
It charged my iphone perfectly and also my sisters ipod.
The only noticeable differences are the lack of an Apple logo on the back of the USB plug and the actual casings are slightly smaller than the apple one.
I also noticed the wire inside the cable seems a bit more stiff, like I can bend it into a curve or angle and it will hold its position more readily than the original cable does. I imagine that means it may kink and possibly fail sooner, but I have been through several original apple cables in less than two years, so I am okay with that. At under three dollars including shipping I can afford to buy ten of these before I spend what I would for one from apple.

I just got my iPhone 4 in the mail and this USB works with it. It works very well, but looking close at the part where the wire is connected to the plastic ends it looks a bit cheap, so thats why i gave it a 4 star rating.. but for the price you really can't beat it, and it works with the iPhone 4! I recommend this product.
